How ironic you know everyone's names and it was your first and only visit there. Sounds like a disgruntled employee to me. Savvy! If you are going to write a review, you may want to get your facts straight before you do. Joyce has not worked at that location for quite some time, she has been at the other locations for over a year. So it would have been impossible for you to have any encounter with her unless you worked there! Anyone that has been through the training program knows that you would be fired if you were to speak foul language. All employees, including Joyce and Becky know how to conduct themselves, especially in front of customers! Employees are drugtested and cell phones are not allowed. Cleanliness of the restaurant is not even an issue, it is known for being one of the cleanest. As far as the food goes, it is top quality, the cook is awesome(and bald by the way)!The wait staff is very nice and friendly, any accidents that may have happened would have been dealt with the utmost,sincere apologies. I find it very sad that this type of slanderous review is posted on here. The Windmill Cafe has a good reputation and have received many awards for their food and catering. My advice is to ignore the bogus review and try it for youself.

This restaurant is disgusting. My husband and I went in with the temptation of homecooking being offered and instead we were served feces. We ordered several meals, it being a larger party that met there, and all of them were not only cold, but the steak was stringy, the spaghetti had hair in it, and the owner, a woman named Joyce and her daughter Becky, was rude and inconsiderate. They called themselves a christian restaurant but I heard them say many choice words in the company of small children. The setting was cute and quaint at first sight but upon closer inspection food particles were on the floor and almost every table was filthy. The wait staff was by far the worst I had ever seen. A small blonde girl by the name of Bobbi, who could not have been more than fifteen, spilled a cup of soup on my husband and then a drink refill a few minutes later, I heard her talking about drugs on our way out. A colored girl who seemed in charge was continiously talking on her cell phone and the service was awful. So if your drawn to the thoughts of homecooking this isn't the place for you. I'm 64 years old and I expect a level of quality from homecooked food, but this was far below par. So I warn you before you go, this is a negative six star restaraunt.
